Basic Skills Training
Services are geared towards participants, age (5-18), facing social interaction challenges resulting from underdeveloped cognitive and behavioral skills. BST will provide programs designed to promote and support the development of adequate and effective skills for social interaction. Services will encompass the use of positive reinforcement, modeling, and operant conditioning among other techniques. BST services will include self-care skills, social skills, communication skills, and parenting training.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Services are rehabilitative interventions designed to reduce psychosocial dysfunction and restore recipients to their highest level of functioning. PSR is geared towards participant's age (5-21). Services target the psychological functioning of participants within a variety of social settings. PSR services may include any combination of the following interventions: Behavior Management, Social Competency, Problem Solving, Effective Communication, Identity and Emotional Intimacy, Self-sufficiency, Life goals and Sense of Humor.
